This seems to mainly be affecting users who have downloaded mods via the Creation Club, however. All that said, please note that some users are experiencing issues with adjusting their load order after installing this updated version. If you installed your game files on the C:\ drive, you may need to launch Nexus Mod Manager as an administrator, so keep that in mind. You can confirm this before loading anything simply by opening up the console with the tilde key, and typing in GetSKSEVersion. Just click that, and it should launch Skyrim SE using the SKSE Loader. Once you’re done, you should now see the “Launch SKSE” in the launcher options. Once it’s done downloading, just run the installer like you normally would, and accept any warnings you get along the way.

Alright, so while we wait on the new mod manager from Nexus called Vortex, we can download an updated version of the current one that will allow you to launch SKSE via a dropdown menu.
